Inform. Engage. Sustain.
We have learned so much over the past three years and considerable potential for collaboration between non-profit groups remains to be realized.
Our work to date has provided immense learning that will guide the HCC going forward. Existing organizations offer amazing services, however, there remains an opportunity to enhance knowledge of and access to those services.
We are committed to continuing to work together.
- The HCC is transitioning to volunteer-based operations and is looking for people to join the board–both from organizations who have unmet space needs and individuals who just want to be involved.
- The first priority is to form a board of directors who will establish governance structures to guide the HCC’s decision-making process going forward.
- We are revamping this website to serve as a Virtual Hub – watch this space as we develop this community resources in the coming months.
- As a founding partner, Bridge Church identified the synergy between church programming that only requires physical space for limited times during the week and social service organizations that could utilize some of those same spaces at other times. Bridge Church continues to be committed to finding a facility for its own congregation that could include affordable, accessible, non-religious facility space for the HCC.
- We plan to stay in touch with the community as our plans continue to develop.
Business and Sustainability Plan
A Business and Sustainability Plan has been developed to guide the Heartland Commons into its next stage of development.
The HCC is looking for new partners, especially organizations that have current unmet space needs. We would love to have a conversation with you about the possibilities.
